Knee injury could sideline Ryan Taylor for a month
Posted Aug 14, 2009
Ryan Taylor's bid to become North Carolina's starting H-back suffered a setback Tuesday in practice with an injury that will sideline him for possibly a month. Taylor sprained the medial-collateral ligament in his right knee in a drill when he stepped back while trying to block a defensive end. He was not hit on the play. Taylor, a 6-3, 240-pound senior, is being counted on by Coach Butch Davis to help UNC's passing game this season.
