Top recruits make 2009 debuts at Jamboree


Always one of the best preseason scrimmages in North Carolina, the BB&T Jamboree featured some of the best college prospects in the state this year. West Brunswick’s Alfy Hill, Hoggard’s and South Columbus’ are all ranked among the top 10 in the state by Rivals.com. Hill, a 6-foot-5, 245-pound defensive end, is the highest ranked of the three as the state’s fourth best prospect. He said Friday that he has narrowed down more than 35 college choices to two – Alabama and North Carolina. (Wilmington Star News)
