Given his struggles during the ACC Tournament, Deon Thompson said the UNC coaching staff didn't have to send so much as the tiniest challenge in his vicinity. "I knew how bad I was," the sophomore forward said Friday night at the RBC Center. That's why his role in the top-ranked Tar Heels' 113-74 demolition of Mount St. Mary's emerged as one of the more important rays of sunshine in an altogether radiant performance.
