Johnnie Farms 'nasty and mean' for Hargrave
Posted Sep 2, 2009
Johnnie Farms, the 6-foot-2, 305-pound offensive lineman from Perry, Ga., is the latest in a long string of highly rated college prospects who went to Hargrave after failing to qualify academically for Division I ball. He went to the Chatham, Va., prep school to work on his academics and boost his test score enough to go to North Carolina in 2010. And if he pancakes a few defenders along the way, so much the better. "He's nasty and mean," Hargrave head coach Robert Prunty said of Farms. "We call him the Junkyard Dog."
