Jonathan Cooper steps into spotlight Saturday vs. Citadel

Jonathan Cooper has known since the end of spring practice that he’d be starting at left guard for the North Carolina football team this season. It just took until midsummer for the reality to hit. “I was watching two of my teammates play video games and there I was on NCAA 2010,” he said. “I couldn’t believe it. I’m looking at me blocking and pulling and knocking guys down. It was amazing.”
