Larry Drew hopes to jump start North Carolina

Before the season begins, new North Carolina point guard Larry Drew wants Tar Heels fans to understand one thing: He’s not as fast as Ty Lawson. And he never will be. “Ty’s version of fast is on a whole different level than everyone else’s,” Drew said of his predecessor. “But that doesn’t mean I can’t do my job. I’m still fast enough to do well in the North Carolina system.”
