Daly: Boyd Makes Big Impact

Jheranie Boyd's speed was something of an urban legend well before the freshman wide receiver stepped foot on UNC's campus. The speedster had one of the best times in the state of North Carolina last year in the 100-meter dash, posting a dazzling personal best of 10.32 seconds. When asked over the summer about his incoming crew of wideouts, quarterback T.J. Yates let out a "Whew" when he got to Boyd and went with a simple three-word description: "He is fast."
