Steelers' kicker Jeff Reed: 'There's no excuse'

Jeff Reed has been one of the most consistent kickers in the NFL the last five seasons. But he missed two key fourth-quarter field goals Sunday before Robbie Gould connected on a 44-yarder to beat the Steelers 17-14. "Of course that's uncharacteristic of him," Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said. (Chicago Tribune)
