Carolina bowl hopes take a hit
Posted Nov 28, 2009
Atlanta is out - and Orlando may be in? North Carolina bowl hopes took a slide with Saturday’s loss, and the Heels have no shot at the Chick-fil-A. Carolina is 4-4 in ACC play and can’t go to a bowl ahead of Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech or Clemson under league rules. That means Carolina could land in the ACC’s fourth bowl, the Champs Sports Bowl in Orlando, Fla. That game is Dec. 29 at 8 p.m.
