When Marvin Austin rolled out of bed on Dec. 1, the effervescent defensive tackle checked his cell phone and discovered a multitude of calls from various area codes. On that morning, the NFL talk ignited from message board speculation to a full-blown topic of conversation. It’s important to note that the 6-foot-3, 305-pound tackle wasn’t even aware that Dec. 1 was the first day that agents could contact college juniors.
