Slowly but surely, the country is finding out about defensive end Kareem Martin (Roanoke Rapids, N.C./Roanoke Rapids). The 6-foot-6, 230-pounder won MVP honors for the North Carolina defense during its 24-14 win against the South Carolina all-stars on Saturday at the 73rd Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas. His performance in the game showed why Martin should be one of the most coveted uncommitted prospects in the Mid-Atlantic.
