Tar Heels let another one slip away

The game had been over for less than 30 minutes, but already UNC football coach Butch Davis was anxious to put both it and the season it helped bring to close into the past. “We’re already over it,” he said of the Tar Heels’ 19-17 loss to No. 17 Pittsburgh. There’s a good reason why Davis was so anxious to turn the page and move on to 2010. It will make the next eight months a lot easier to stomach.
