An Ugly Win
Posted Dec 29, 2009
Just win. Simple concept in the sports world and North Carolina did just that with an 81-67 win over a scrappy Rutgers team in front of a 21,023 Smith Center crowd. Dexter Strickland’s career high 18 points led six Tar Heels in double figures while Ed Davis tied his career high with 15 rebounds in the win. While winning is the ultimate objective, Coach Roy Williams was not pleased by the show his Heels put on.
