Tim Jackson: Stanford is out, UNC & Wake on top
Posted Jan 7, 2010
One team is out with Gibbs DE Tim Jackson. Meantime, a new team has emerged. Jackson said late Tuesday night he has dropped Stanford, which had been one of his favorites. The reason: Several defensive assistants, including D.J. Durkin, the person recruiting Jackson for the Cardinal, have left for other staffs (Durkin is headed to Florida). This development leaves North Carolina and Wake Forest at the top, Jackson said.
