UNC-bound Reggie Bullock guides Kinston at Hoophall
Posted Jan 18, 2010
The anticipated battle between two of the top high school boys basketball recruits in the country never materialized as Kinston, N.C., thumped Kentwood of Covington, Wash., 60-37 Saturday at the Spalding Hoophall Classic. North Carolina-bound Reggie Bullock, a toned 6-foot-7 senior swingman, made scoring 26 points in 27 minutes look easy for Kinston. “It was fun to come out here,” Bullock said. “The atmosphere was good.” Josh Smith, a 6-10 senior center who has verbally committed to UCLA, did not play for Kentwood due to a lingering right knee injury.
