Thompson energizes Tar Heels in win over Wolfpack
Posted Jan 27, 2010
On North Carolina's first possession Tuesday night at the RBC Center, senior Deon Thompson drove himself into position deep in the post and went to work. Taking a feed from Larry Drew II, Thompson spun on N.C. State's Dennis Horner, drew a foul on Scott Wood, made his layup and converted the three-point play. It's a clip you're unlikely to see when the highlights of the Tar Heels' 77-63 defeat of the Wolfpack are replayed.
