Deon Thompson not likely to miss first contest
Posted Mar 6, 2010
North Carolina senior Deon Thompson might have missed his first practice since he became a Tar Heel because of back pain Wednesday, but he is expected to break the school record for most games played when he takes the floor against Duke tonight. The forward never has missed a contest during his career and is tied with Danny Green, who graduated in 2009, with 145 games played.
