Darius Lipford named player of the year in NW 3A-4A winter sports

Hibriten's Darius Lipford was named the conference's player of the year in boys basketball. Lipford, who has signed to play football at North Carolina, averaged double figures in scoring and rebounding for the Panthers, who finished 20-10 and advanced to the finals of the NCHSAA 3A West regional tournament for the first time in school history.
