From the flip-over-the-numbers scoreboard to the ear-splitting volume, William and Mary coach Tony Shaver has fond memories of Carmichael Auditorium. That doesn't mean he's thrilled to be heading there. Yet the Tribe's second postseason appearance in school history will be on the road. W&M (22-10), the No. 5 seed its bracket, opens the NIT against fourth-seeded North Carolina (16-16) Tuesday night at 9:30.
