North Carolina snares ESPNU 150 Watch List tight end Eric Ebron

Coveted Eric Ebron, a 6-foot-4, 225-pound tight end from Smith (Greensboro, N.C.), has given a Class of 2011 commitment to the Tar Heels. Among his other offers were Alabama, Arkansas, Clemson, Duke, East Carolina, Louisville, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina State, Rutgers, Virginia and West Virginia. Smith, who caught 24 passes for 408 yards (17 average) and four touchdowns as a junior, is the third member of North Carolina's 2011 class.
