Quentin Thomas’ play keeping Tar Heels on point
Posted Feb 27, 2008
Ty Lawson has missed six straight games with a high ankle sprain. He might miss a seventh when No. 2 North Carolina visits Boston College Saturday afternoon. Yet the Tar Heels are still atop the ACC standings with an 11-2 record (26-2 overall) and remain squarely in the conversation for a No. 1 NCAA Tournament seed despite playing without Lawson. How is that possible? Without Quentin Thomas, it probably wouldn’t be.
