Cam Thomas Ready to Head West

Several NFL mock drafts had Cam Thomas going to San Diego in the second round on Friday. But while the actual selection occurred three rounds later, the affable Tar Heel defensive tackle is packing his bags to suit up for the Chargers in less than two weeks. “I found out a couple of minutes before they made the pick,” Thomas told Inside Carolina. “They called me and asked, ‘Are you ready?’ And I was like, ‘You [darn] right I’m ready – let’s go.’” (Inside Carolina)
