James McAdoo ranked nationally by MaxPreps.com


MaxPreps.com released its top 100 players for the Class of 2011 and two South Hampton Road players are in the top 20. Norfolk Christian 6-foot-8 forward is No. 3 and Norcom 6-7 forward Dorian Finney-Smith is No. 17. McAdoo has already committed to North Carolina. Last season he was the Gatorade Virginia Boys Basketball Player of the Year and was fourth-team Parade All-American. He averaged 22.5 points, 10 rebounds and 2 steals in leading the Ambassadors to the Virginia Independent Schools Division II state title. (Virginian-Pilot)
