Roy Williams targeting J.P. Tokoto
Posted May 8, 2010
With three McDonald's All-Americans (Harrison Barnes, Reggie Bullock and Kendall Marshall) on the way to Chapel Hill next month and two more secured in the Class of 2011 with commitments from James McAdoo and P.J. Hairston, UNC coach Roy Williams is intensifying his recruiting efforts in the 2012 class. One of Williams' most coveted prospects: 6-6 wing J.P. Tokoto from Wisconsin. Tokoto, ranked No. 4 among current high school sophomores by Scout, is an accomplished scorer who has exactly the type of game that would fit well in UNC's high-octane offense. And there's a belief that Williams would have already extended a scholarship offer to Tokoto if he could.
