Jordan Hemby signs with Indianapolis Colts

Former Freedom High and UNC football player signed a rookie free-agent contract with the Indianapolis Colts, the team announced April 30. Hemby, a 2005 Freedom grad, was one of 16 undrafted players the Colts recently added to the roster. The 5-11, 190-pound cornerback was a three-year letterman for the Tar Heels and started 13 games as a junior in 2008, recording 49 tackles and three forced fumbles. (Morganton News Herald)
