UNC recruit T.J. Thorpe to play in Gridiron Kings event

Jordan High School rising senior T.J. Thorpe will participate in the Champion Gridiron Kings event in Orlando, Fla., July 24-25. The event is part of the ESPN RISE Games held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The Gridiron Kings event includes performance training, position-specific training, skills challenges and a 7-on-7 competition. The event features 65 of the best players in the skill positions including quarterback, running back, tight end, wide receiver, linebacker, cornerback and safety.
