UNC boasted the top defense in the ACC a year ago, and with the core of that group returning in 2010 five of those Tar Heels -- the most of any school -- were recognized on the preseason All-ACC team the league announced Wednesday. Defensive end Robert Quinn, defensive tackle Marvin Austin, linebacker Quan Sturdivant, cornerback Kendric Burney and safety Deunta Williams all helped UNC rank sixth in the nation in total defense in 2009.
