After losing offensive line recruits Kiaro Holt and Landon Turner, Virginia Tech finally landed its first offensive line recruit in the 2011 class in Jake Goins. While Goins is not highly ranked by Scout or Rivals, the tackle was good enough to earn offers from Clemson, Duke, Maryland and Virginia. Meanwhile, Georgia Tech lost a commitment from running back Quartterio Morgan, because Morgan is unlikely to meet the school’s entrance requirements.
