T.J. Thorpe's ankle 'better' according to coach
Posted Aug 30, 2010
Jordan High School head football coach Mike Briggs said Sunday evening that T.J. Thorpe's ankle is "feeling better" after he injured it on Friday night. Thorpe, a senior defensive back and wide receiver who has verbally committed to North Carolina, fell awkwardly on his ankle in Friday's loss to Panther Creek after attempting to catch a pass in the end zone. After he went down, Thorpe walked off the field on his own power and was treated on the sideline.
