Marquise Williams throws 4 TD passes, runs for a TD...in the first quarter

has had some great quarters in his four years as Mallard Creek's starting quarterback. But Friday night was one of his best performances in a 12-minute span as Williams threw for 157 yards and four touchdowns and ran for another score in the first quarter alone as the senior led the Mavericks to a 74-0 win over East Mecklenburg. "I just have to come out and do what I do no matter who we are playing or what the score is," Williams said, who has committed to play football at North Carolina next year. (Charlotte Observer)
