Ex-UNC player talked to NCAA, but says he broke no rules
Posted Sep 11, 2010
Former UNC cornerback Chris Hawkins said Friday that he talked to NCAA investigators about his relationship with current Tar Heels football players but said he hasn’t broken any rules with regard to UNC. Hawkins, who played the last of his three seasons with the Tar Heels in 2003, said he was helping UNC players “with the vetting process” of agents. He said he is not an agent, however, adding that he has not taken money from an agent.
