In week one of the NFL season, the former dynamic receiving duo of Hakeem Nicks and Brandon Tate combined for four scores, as Nicks caught three touchdown passes and Tate sprinted 97 yards with a kickoff return for a touchdown. Two former Tar Heel kickers also stood out on Sunday, as Connor Barth made a 49-yarder in a three-point Buccaneer victory and Jeff Reed connected on three field goals for Pittsburgh.
