Posted Sep 15, 2010
Smith senior tight end Eric Ebron said his verbal commitment to North Carolina remains firm, despite the shadow of an NCAA investigation into possible violations and the university’s investigation into academic misconduct involving football players and a former undergraduate tutor. “I’m definitely solid with Carolina,” Ebron said. “That’s just where I want to be, no matter what goes on there. I’m going to ride it through with Carolina.” The 6-5, 230-pound Ebron is the top-ranked tight end in the state by scout.com.
