Sophomore wide receiver Jheranie Boyd had six catches for 221 yards and a touchdown in UNC’s season-opening loss to LSU in Atlanta. Saturday at home against Georgia Tech, he only touched the ball once from scrimmage (losing two yards on a fourth-quarter reverse) and didn’t catch a single pass. What was the difference? “They were doing a good job of putting two guys over him,” Tar Heel quarterback T.J. Yates said.
