UNC commit Ebron may miss Smith-Dudley game because of injury
Posted Sep 22, 2010
Smith senior Eric Ebron, a UNC commitment and the top-ranked tight end in the state by scout.com, may miss the undefeated Golden Eagles’ game against rival Dudley on Friday because of a shoulder injury. “We could play him if we wanted him to,” Smith coach Rodney Brewington said Tuesday. “He has a bad bruise on his shoulder. He’ll probably be back next week, but he may play Friday. It’s probably a dislocation but the CAT scan hasn’t come back yet.” Ebron posted on Facebook on Tuesday that he learned he had suffered a fracture, would miss three to four weeks and would return to action against Page on Oct. 15.
