NCAA punishes two Tar Heels

UNC's Kendric Burney and Deunta Williams will miss six and four games, respectively, and must repay benefits to be able to play again after violating NCAA agent benefits and preferential treatment rules, according to a decision announced on Wednesday. Burney, a defensive back, and Williams, a safety, are among 12 UNC players withheld from the season's first two games because of the ongoing investigations into agents and academics.
