Tar Heels rally past Scarlet Knights 17-13

North Carolina finally found a way to win playing short-handed. T.J. Yates threw a go-ahead third-quarter touchdown pass and North Carolina’s defense made two late stands to lead the undermanned Tar Heels to a 17-13 victory against Rutgers yesterday. “This feels good,” Yates said after North Carolina (1-2) avoided its first 0-3 record since 2003.
