Basketball Recruiting Updates: Chol, Murphy, Purvis, and Late Night visitors

Here are a few basketball recruiting notes from the past week that have yet to make it onto Tar Heel Times.
Recruits scheduled to attend UNC's "Late Night with Roy Williams" on October 15th are as follows:
P.J. Hairston (2011 5-star SG, 6-5, 215, Greensboro, NC)
Although he's already committed to the Tar Heels, this will be Hairston's official visit to UNC.
James McAdoo (2011 5-star PF, 6-8, 205, Norfolk, VA)
Another 2011 UNC commit, McAdoo is also making his official visit to UNC.
Cody Zeller (2011 5-star PF, 6-10, 210, Washington, IN)
Zeller is currently uncommitted and lists UNC, Indiana, and Butler as his top-3 schools
Shabazz Muhammad (2012 5-star SF, 6-5, 185, Las Vegas, NV)
Although only a junior, Muhammad lists UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, UCLA, Duke, UNLV, Louisville, Texas, and Memphis among his favorites.
L.J. Rose (2012 4/5-star PG, 6-2, 170, Houston, TX)
Rose appears to be the top point guard target for 2012. He currently lists UNC, Duke, Texas, and Baylor at the top of his list.
Angelo Chol to visit UNC:
Angelo Chol (2011 4-star PF, 6-8, 205, San Diego, CA) currently lists UNC in his top-5 along with Alabama, Arizona, Kansas, and Washington. Chol will make his official visit to UNC on January 2nd for the UNC vs Saint Francis (PA) game.
Roy Williams checks out Alex Murphy and Kaleb Tarczewski:
Roy Williams was in Southborough, Mass. recently to check out 2012 prospects and teammates Alex Murphy (5-star SF, 6-8, 180) and Kaleb Tarczewski (5-star C, 7-0, 220). While both are high-profile prospects with big-time offers, Murphy appears to be the
bigger need at this point.
Duke offers 2013 guard Rodney Purvis:
Rodney Purvis (2013 5-star SG, 6-2, 165, Raleigh, NC) received a scholarship offer from the Blue Devils over the weekend. UNC also has Purvis on their radar but have yet to make an offer.
