Posted Oct 16, 2010
Senior cornerback Kendric Burney was given a 6-game suspension for violations of NCAA agent benefits and preferential treatment rules on Sept. 22. Carolina plays its sixth game of the season this Saturday at Virginia, Burney's last game under the original suspension. However, Burney still has an unresolved issue related to the ongoing review and his status for the Miami game is undetermined at this point.
