Jordan posted on his Twitter account, "LJ Rose @lboogie_5 just confirmed to me that UNC did indeed offer him before he left. Not surprised, LJ is a major talent at the point."

Rose, rated a 5-star prospect by Scout.com and 4-stars by Rivals.com, seemed to enjoy his visit, Tweeting the word "speechless" to describe his reaction to the "Late Night" festivities.

Rose has a unique connection to the Tar Heels since his family is close with 's family, as he recently told Dime Magazine:

"I really want to see again. Our families used to vacation in the Bahamas together because he and my dad are close. We used to go over Christmas break before Marcus went to college. Those were good times!"
