Savon Huggins, Gilbert Pena making football visits in October

UNC will entertain a couple of hot recruits later this month in Jersey City, N.J., running back Savon Huggins and Brooklyn, N.Y., defensive tackle Gilbert Pena. Huggins, a 6-foot, 190-pounder from St. Peter's Prep, ran for 1,544 yards and scored 22 touchdowns as a junior. He's already taken an official visit to Notre Dame and will travel to Chapel Hill on Oct. 29 to see the Tar Heels play William & Mary the next day. Pena, a 6-3, 315-pounder from ASA College, has no offer from UNC yet, but expects to receive one after his official visit Oct. 29. He's also scheduled to visit Mississippi on Dec. 4.
