Mallard Creek quarterback Marquise Williams and Rock Hill Northwestern QB Justin Worley are two of 10 candidates for the MaxPreps National player of the year award. Williams has completed 116 of 178 passes (65 percent) for 1,941 yards and 27 touchdowns. He's rushed for 636 yards and 12 scores. His team is ranked No.25 in MaxPreps national poll. Williams has committed to North Carolina.
