Da'Norris Searcy took a hard shot on his shoulder during a second-quarter kickoff return and was down for an extended period before walking off the field. He was taken to the North Carolina locker room for evaluation. UNC fullback Anthony Elzy also was injured during the first half. (Charlotte Observer)
