Lawrence Taylor's lawyer says NFL legend may go to trial on Rockland charges

Former NFL great Lawrence Taylor may go to trial on charges accusing him of statutory rape involving a 16-year-old Bronx girl in May, his lawyer said today. Defense attorney Arthur Aidala said this afternoon outside the Rockland County Courthouse that Taylor would not accept an agreement that brings 10 years probation, which would be mandatory if he pleaded guilty to the felony charges in the case.
