UNC commit TE Eric Ebron selected to Shrine Bowl

Four area football players were selected to the 2010 North Carolina Shrine Bowl roster Thursday – Damarcus Bell, Eric Ebron, Chase Kellum and Alex Pauley. The North Carolina team will face South Carolina at 1 p.m. Dec. 18 at Gibbs Stadium in Spartanburg, S.C. Ebron, a 6-5, 230-pound tight end from Smith, made the roster as a wide receiver. The UNC commitment, who missed one game this season because of a shoulder injury, has recorded 18 catches for 466 yards, an average of 26 yards per catch, and six touchdowns.
