Duke-UNC rivalry extends to recruiting

With all the anticipation building toward Wednesday’s showdown at the Smith Center, it shouldn’t come as much surprise that the two rivals are also involved in a stirring head-to-head recruiting battle for Class of 2009 wing Leslie McDonald. An elite 6-foot-4 guard out of Memphis, McDonald has been receiving significant attention from both the Blue Devils and Tar Heels as each program looks to add to its future backcourt arsenal.
