LB/DE Daquan Romero changes commitment to Virginia

Phoebus defensive end Daquan Romero, who committed to North Carolina last spring, has changed his mind and now plans to sign with Virginia. Romero met with U.Va. admissions officials Monday morning and then committed to Cavaliers coach Mike London. He will be joining Phoebus teammate Caleb Taylor, who committed to the Cavaliers in June. Romero was the Peninsula District Defensive Player of the Year the last two seasons.
