In the Right Place: Hedgecock finds himself starting in the Super Bowl

Madison Hedgecock feared at one point this season that he might be out of the NFL altogether. Those fears lasted less than 24 hours. That’s how long it took the New York Giants to claim Hedgecock off waivers from the St. Louis Rams, and that’s how long it took for Hedgecock to get a fresh start on his professional-football career. “Then the rest,” Hedgecock said earlier this week, “is pretty much history.”
