Report: Marquise Williams de-commits from UNC, commits to Virginia Tech
Posted Nov 29, 2010
Rivals is reporting that Marquise Williams has ditched North Carolina for Virginia Tech. Williams, who is ranked as the No. 10 dual-threat quarterback in the country, originally committed to North Carolina back in July. The senior from Mallard Creek High School in Charlotte, NC, is also ranked by Rivals as the No. 16 recruit in North Carolina. If the report is true, he would be the second quarterback to commit to Virginia Tech in the last two days.
