Hokies optimistic about landing QB Marquise Williams

There is considerable optimism that will end up at Virginia Tech, possibly in time for the second semester. I trust the sources who tell me that Williams told the Hokies last week that he was coming but he still has not publicly decommitted to North Carolina. In the Whispers column that Mike Farrell writes for rivals.com, he said there was one school of thought that says Williams has known for some time that he isn't going to North Carolina and had narrowed his choices to Tech and North Carolina State.
